PUBLIC NOTICE

PMR FORWARDING FOR CIVIL AIRCREW MEDICAL EXAMINATION

Civil aircrews interact with Medical Cell predominantly for medical assessments and positioning of PMRs for medical examination at Boarding Centers. With effect from 19 Oct 2009, PMRs will be forwarded to Civil Aircrew Boarding Centers by Speed Post only and will not be handed over to aircrew for carriage by hand. Civil aircrew need to give a notice of at least 10 working days for their PMRs to be positioned at the boarding center of their choice. PMRs on their way back to DGCA, after medical examination, will also be sent by speed post by the boarding centers.
The form for forwarding of PMR to the boarding center is attached and the completed form needs to be positioned at PMR Cell at least 10 working days prior to the date of medical examination. Email requests for forwarding of PMRs will not be accepted.
